Honey Crunch by Tailored House E Liquid
Honey Crunch by Tailored House E Liquid – A good honey vape?
Juice description from their site: “Are you ready of a simply delicious, decadent ice cream sandwich that will overtake your senses with how complex its flavors are? Honey Crunch by Tailored House E Liquid takes a premium vanilla ice cream that’s soft, smooth and bursting with flavor and drizzles a sticky, sweet, natural tasting honey over top then puts it in between two savory, buttery graham crackers for an unbelievable treat you won’t forget any time soon!”
I happened to come across Honey Crunch when I was visiting a new vape shop in my town. To be honest I had not seen their line before. But the flavor profiles they have intrigued me. I ended up snagging two bottles. I picked up the Honey Crunch and the Strawberry Crunch. They have two other flavors as well that I have not picked up (but plan on doing so).
With all that said, this review right here is not about the other three flavors, it is about honey crunch, so let’s get into it.
Flavor: When I opened this one up and gave it the sniff test I primarily got vanilla notes with a hint of honey.
On the inhale, the first thing that jumps out at you is the vanilla ice cream notes. They are very present, but not in an over powering way. Along with those notes, you get sweet honey. Neither flavor is overly sweet or strong. Just a nice smooth vanilla with a decent amount of honey.
With the exhale, you now get the graham cracker notes coming in. Now, the description says “buttery” graham cracker. Maybe it was just me, but I wasn’t getting a buttery note to the graham cracker. It is a good graham cracker flavor though. Along with the graham cracker, you still get the vanilla and honey. The vanilla compliments the graham cracker well and you still get a nice hint of honey.
Cloud Production: Honey Crunch is labeled as a 70/30 blend. Based on the viscosity I would believe that to be accurate. It does produce very dense milky clouds that linger and fall to the ground.
Throat Hit: The bottle I got was 3mg (my preferred nic level). There is almost no throat hit what so ever. This juice is super smooth. No burning or stinging out the nose or mouth.
Coil & Cotton: I was warned when I picked this up that it was a coil killer. So, was it? Kind of, yes. I tried this in both an RDA as well as a tank (Falcon mesh tank). In the RDA I was able to get about a day/day and a half before needing to change my cotton. Now, in the tank, I actually got about a week on my coil. I think that has more to do with the Falcon coils though. Oddly, this juice does not taste overly sweet at all. But it is not what I would call coil and cotton friendly.
Bottle Size(s) & Nicotine MG Available: This juice is available in 100ml chubby gorilla bottles and nicotine strengths of 0, 3 and 6mg.
Closing Thoughts: I will preface this by saying right up front that I am not a honey lover. I do enjoy things with honey in them, but do not like straight honey or things with a ton of it in them. I was skeptical about trying a honey ejuice. But, I am glad I did. The way this is blended the honey is just right. It adds to the overall flavor and is not over powering. If I had to say there was something I didn’t like, I guess that would be how it treats your coils. At the same time though, it doesn’t really bother me. I tend to rewick often (mostly use RDA’s or RTA’s) and it fared pretty well in a mesh sub ohm tank. But I do think it might kill coils in other tanks quicker. So, that is something to keep in mind if you use tanks. Is it an all day vape? For me, it sure was. It went amazingly well with my coffee and I was able to vape it throughout the day, never losing flavor or getting tired of it. Would you buy it again? Overall I really, really liked this stuff. I went through the entire bottle and have already placed an order online for more.
